So... women need to follow a few simple rules as well. If the man is following all the rules, but the woman isn't its still doomed to fail. DUH!
-Ladies, there's never a reason to me furry. EVER. I don't think I need to elaborate any further
-Men don't like to be smothered. My male friends always say that if you're out at the same place there's no need to be all up in his shit. ESPECIALLY if you both know where you'll end up at the end of the night.
-Leave the ex's in the past. They will only ruin you.
-Don't wear makeup to bed.
-If you can't cook, learn.
-Regardless of how much money your man makes, be employed or have a stash
-NEVER jump to conclusions. Chances are, what you think is a big deal is not a big deal to him. Only react to exact words, not what you think are subliminal messages.
-If you can't sing, don't try.
-If you're weird, don't hide it. It probably makes you a lot less boring.
-Never think you're the only one. Unless there's a ring on your finger YOU'RE NOT the only one.
please note: all of these things are true, I didn't pull them out my ass.

Man Rules
So, there are simple rules every man needs to follow/pay attention to. Keep these things in mind and your relationships or attempts to get a woman will be far more successful. I promise.
- Do not mess with a black woman and her hair. Even if she has that "good hair", you may not know what her schedule is like. So being "playful" by pushing in the shower may seem nice for about 5 minutes, but once she realizes that she has to be at work in an hour and her hair is a mess, you will be in the dog house.
- Chris Brown should never be your role model. EVER
- The woman shall get hers before the man. period.
-Telling a girl you saw her on facebook and that made you want to talk to her or get to know her makes you a stalker. Introducing yourself via facebook makes you lame.
-If you're from Baltimore, keep it a secret. Due to fear of contracting HIV, you will get NONE if she finds out. Just saying...
-A shoe fetish is kinda interesting. A foot fetish is kinda disgusting.
-DO NOT be late. If you're going to be late, say you're going to be late. Don't just be late and she doesn't know. NEVER stand her up. Just tell her you can't make it. Do that and there's still a chance to redeem yourself.
-This one is for me. I personally do not like hair on a man's head. I don't mean baldness, but locks, braids, whatever they may be, keep them done at all times. If you're hair can't get done, stay home. Not my home... YOUR home.
-Don't assume she knows how you feel. And even if she does know, you're stupid if you think she doesn't like to be reminded.
-If you call a girl to come be with you when its dark outside, but then you're with your friends and see her in the light you act like she doesn't exist, its done. Even if she likes you too much to do something about it, her friends will notice. And she DOES listent to them.
-The WORST thing you can do is get on her friends bad sides. Like I said, she does listen to them. They have great influence on her.
-Don't think that just becuase she's not around, she won't find out about what you're doing. Females talk A LOT. Therefore there will always be someone around who will see you that knows her, or knows someone that knows her. But if you're upfront about it, technically she can't get mad right? And she'll admire the honesty, so just don't be sneaky.
and finally the most important of all...
ALWAYS WEAR CLEAN SHOES.
Look out for the rules the ladies should follow tomorrow :)

I'm BACK! M.I.A- World Town
So I haven't blogged in a MINUTE, and my huge comeback was gonna be a musicmonday M.I.A extravaganza BUT that didn't happen. So since it's tuesday and not monday I'll just share a quick video of one of my favorite songs. Its not the official music video, it's just one that I found online that someone made. The video isn't the point anyway, its the song. So ENJOY!
For those who haven't yet discovered her music, have an open mind. She's outrageously talented and thinks way outside the box which is something I can always appreciate. I'd start with the first album instead of just jumping straight to "Paper Planes" since everyone and their mom clearly already knows that song. Anywho, I'll do another post later about the transition from Arular to Kala, or at least what I think about it.

Update
-Someone hacked my aim yesterday.... GREAT. Hopefully it didn't affect too many people. Haven't used it in months so I need to get that password changed ASAP
-Bought new SOAP yesterday!! Highlight of my extremely long day
-Latest obsession... DRY SHAMPOO. I've been trying to find some everywhere with no luck. $50 to whoever can find me a store other than Sephora that sells a good brand
-Anxious yet excited about the big move this weekend. I've been preparing for weeks and I'm still not ready.
-The past 2-3 weeks I've been neglecting the two most important books in my life, and I don't like it one bit. 1.my bible and 2. my LSAT book. And I might be in like, and that bothers me as well. Time to get focused, life is way too short
-Kim Jong Il (leader of North Korea) scares me more and more everyday. (more detailed post coming soon) He's a tiny old man yet threatens the well being of this country I love. If anything happens, I'm putting my brother on my back and hiking to the keys, then swimming to Trinidad. Life wouldn't be too bad there either. I'd eat good and have golden skin.
-I like a lot of really weird things most people don't know about. Like abstract, silent, sometimes animated short films and indie music. And historically violent or unethical things fascinate me. I could probably spend an hour reading about/watching videos about the Holocaust, Emmit Till, and the Phelps family of the Westboro baptist church. Don't judge, it doesn't mean I agree. In fact, I strongly DISAGREE.

Imogen Heap "Just For Now"
This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. Don't be close minded about music, Imogen Heap is weird but soooo talented.
The song "Just for Now" in the video below is being recorded as she performs it.
Again, if you missed it that first time, she is recording the whole thing... live... as she performs. Its crazy.
Watch
PS- "Hide and Seek" is probably one of the songs most people know. It's also one of my favorites. Check it out

Music Monday! Jonh Mayer Trio "Vultures"
Music Mondays is a Twitter thing. And now that I'm a pretty frequent Twitter-er, I guess I can do it to.
For my last monday at this job, I'm in a celebratory mood and I want to listen to feel-good music today. The kind that makes you want to close your eyes type feel-good music. Naturally, John Mayer does that to me.
The video below is actually a performance from John Mayer Trio, a group put together in 2005 for what seems like the purpose of touring. I'm not quite sure if that's actually the case but that's what it seemed like to me. John Mayer was doing perfectly fine recording on his own. Anywho, in a live performance sense, he definitely does better with bassist Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan on drums. It so nice to see real music, made with actual instruments... the kind you play.
Here's "Vultures", one of my all-time favorites, written by the trio.
Enjoy!
